Emergency Tiller

I always wondered how effective the emergency tiller is but never took the time to check it out. As a result, it sat in the starboard locker untouched. When did try to hook it up I could not figure out how it was supposed to work. Tips from other owners on http://sailboatowners.com  gave me sufficient info on how to install it. Next spring I'll try sailing with it and update this page with my assessment.
